When I first went to Detroit to talk about women and autos and how important they were to the auto industry--all those guys in suits acted as if they were completely deaf. You could see it in their eyes. They paid lip service to women starting in the 1990s. And then things began to change. Women have always been a "factor". This is a short video from The New York Auto Show that chronicles their importance to the industry.
